Location is prime, right near King Street and tons of restaurants. The breakfast options were decent with made-to-order omelets. Had an issue with the slow valet service. Rooms felt a bit outdated and could use better cleaning.

I fell in love with the hotel's amazing location! It was just a short stroll to fabulous restaurants and shops. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast had something for everyone—don’t even get me started on those waffles!
Can recommend! 😊❤️

It was so frustrating having to call maintenance multiple times just to get some relief from the heat!

Location is fantastic, easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Breakfast had great variety. Check-in took too long and room cleanliness could be better. Some stains on pillowcases. Friendly staff helped with our requests.

Breakfast tastes great, and the staff are super helpful. The location is prime for exploring local attractions and catching the shuttle.
Housekeeping only happens twice a week, which is a bit ridiculous.

The roll-in shower bathroom was super accessible and spacious it had everything anyone would need like a comfy bed and lots of walking space plus free handicapped parking next door.
It was pricey but not outrageous.

This hotel is just about a mile walk to the heart of Charleston down King Street, making it super easy to explore local attractions like the Old Slave Mart Museum and the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry, plus there are tons of great restaurants and bars just a few steps away, including The Ordinary and Felix which are practically around the corner; the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable, although daily housekeeping could definitely use some improvement.

The room was spacious and clean, making it comfortable for a stay. The temperature control worked well, ensuring a pleasant environment. the bed linens for the pull-out sofa were missing, which was inconvenient. The overall noise level was acceptable, though the door rubbed during entry, causing some disturbance. The water pressure was low, leaving showers less refreshing than expected. While the TV signal often cut out, staff were generally friendly and accommodating. The towels given were old, and more could have been provided for three guests. A few improvements in maintenance would enhance the experience.

Good match for a brief stop-in in Charleston, especially for the price. Location was excellent for walking around.

Great breakfast and a prime location near King St made mornings enjoyable, but the experience was marred by room issues and noise. The rooftop bar offered beautiful skyline views, yet my room had a view of bricks. Staff responsiveness was hit or miss; though they helped move me after a noisy night. Parking was a breeze, thanks to a friendly attendant. The facilities were modern and clean, but some repairs felt overlooked. While I loved the convenience, I’d tread carefully regarding room selection next time—those adjoining doors can be a real headache.

Loved the free breakfast buffet and the great rooftop bar nearby! The location was convenient, with a free bus stop across the street and close to attractions. Also, the lobby and dining areas were clean and welcoming, with friendly staff and tasty complimentary breakfast.
The room decor felt a bit outdated and in need of an update. The breakfast quality was subpar, with disappointing coffee and tasteless options.

The breakfast was good, and the staff handled our requests promptly. The hotel's location was great, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.
The air conditioner in our room was a constant issue, causing discomfort and stress throughout our vacation. Despite multiple calls for assistance, the problem persisted, leading to a lack of proper rest.

Clean property with a fantastic location. A short 15-minute walk to the market or a convenient free bus option. Staff members Naquan, Mallory, Xavier, and Jahwan were exceptional – polite and accommodating. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, though the setup was too small. Lines were long, and it felt overcrowded. Rooms were well-designed but lacked attention to detail, with basic amenities falling short. My refrigerator was broken initially, and it took days to get the phone fixed. The valet service felt pressured; I was led to believe it was my only option, despite a more affordable garage next door. Parking was a hassle, particularly with public use. This stay leaves room for improvement in service and amenities.

I enjoyed the 24/7 Gallery Menu with its selection of burgers and hummus; it was a delightful surprise. The fitness center let me work out my frustrations. The grab-and-go items at The Market saved me from hunger pangs in between exploring the city.
Loved the broken blinds and cranky staff.

The hotel was located in a good area, close to shopping and restaurants which was convenient. The lobby and courtyard were clean and well-maintained, giving that expected Hyatt vibe. The complimentary breakfast was definitely a highlight - it was the best I've ever had at a hotel, with a clean dining area and a good selection of food. there were some areas that could be improved. The room itself felt pretty basic - the shampoo and conditioner provided were of unknown brands, and there was no lotion available. The refrigerator and phone in the room were not working properly, and it took multiple requests to have them fixed. The view from our room was disappointing, overlooking a parking lot full of U Hauls. the hotel had some operational issues. The valet parking system was inefficient, causing long waits at check-out. One of the concierges was not entirely forthcoming with information, which made me question the honesty of their recommendations. And the staff member working the registration counter at 3 AM was rude and unhelpful when I needed assistance with transportation to the airport. my stay at Hyatt Place had its ups and downs.

the hotel is super clean, and it's a quick walk to the main historic area. we found out the Dash stops right across the street - which is super handy for getting around. they upgraded our room for free, and the staff was really helpful.

I chose this hotel because of its convenient location near Historic Charleston City Market, and I was pleasantly surprised by the additional parking available. The bar offered thoughtfully sourced food and premium beverages, and the breakfast area provided a relaxing environment with a variety of options.
Overcharged for 2-day stay. Unsatisfactory room conditions, unhelpful night shift personnel, and insufficient valet service.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The room was well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The free Wi-Fi was also a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected during my trip.
There were some issues during my stay. The breakfast buffet could have offered more variety, as some items were missing or being switched out.
